Prof. Dr. Martin Lambert
Professor Martin Lambert, M.D., performed his psychiatric training at the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the University Medical Center in Hamburg, Germany. During his training, Dr Lambert spent two years at the Early Psychosis Prevention and Intervention Centre (EPPIC) as a Research Fellow of the University of Melbourne. He is a Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Hamburg where he heads to Psychosis Centre including Integrated Care and the Early Detection and Intervention Centre. He is the Senior Teaching Lecturer of the Department and Deputy Speaker of the Hamburg Network of Psychic Health. Dr Lambert’s current research interests include the pharmacological treatment of schizophrenia and first-episode psychosis patients, and, especially, aspects of integrated care, remission and recovery, quality of life and subjective wellbeing. He has been editor and author of several books about schizophrenia and published articles in various research fields in schizophrenia, first-episode psychosis and integrated care.
