Drs. Marijke van Putten (1957) is psychiatrist and CEO of Mental Health Institute (MHI) Noord Holland Noord (NHN). She worked for more then twenty years as a psychiatrist, director and innovator.
The MHI NHN is specialised in deinstitutionalisation, recovery-oriented care, inventor of the Flexible ACT, and has a lot of experience in e-mental health, also for people with Severe Mental Illnesses.
Together with some other institutions, MHI NHN started “het Dolhuys”, museum of psychiatry in Haarlem, The Netherlands. Marijke is regent and member supervisory board of “het Dolhuys”.
Marijke is also member supervisory board of the center of excellence for people with personallity disorders in The Netherlands. She is member of the board of “Leerstoel van de Psychiatrie” (chair of psychiatry) in Utrecht, The Netherlands. She is member of the board of Phrenos, center of excellence for people with severe mental illnesses.
